The African Leadership Academy is looking to create the next generation of leaders in Africa. Our goal is to create 6000 leaders over the next 50 years. As a consequence of our initiative, we believe that we will make amazing progress in fighting the brain drain. The most valuable natural resource available to Africa are the minds and ambition of our young. If we are able to educate these young minds and provide them with the tools they need to come back to Africa after they have gained a valuable education... then we believe that these agents of change will transform Africa into the an economic powerhouse that is politically stable and a beacon of hope to the rest of the world.
The first step is to have students between the ages of 15 and 19 complete the first round application. Applications are available in Arabic, French and English. I am calling on everyone reading this to go to our website, www.africanleadershipacademy.org and see what we are all about.
