It was August 2002 when about 90 of the Egyptian youth gathered in the Great Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria -the second capital of Egypt - to volunteer in organizing the Youth Employment Summit that was held in Bibliotheca Alexandrina from 7-11 September 2002. Those youth were able to organize such great conference successfully and it was the start to our volunteer work in Alexandria. BA (Bibliotheca Alexandrina) is considered one of the biggest and also one of the most important organizations not only in Egypt but also in the whole World, this project aims at promoting BA activities in all fields that concern the humanity through involving with the BA in all its activities starting from participating in organizing the conferences ending with helping the BA stuff in all the special projects that made by the BA.
Objectives:
1-Promoting the volunteerism activities through involving with the BA.
2-Imporving the youth leadership skills through participating in many events and dealing with people all over the world.
3- Giving the chance to youth to have more experience in life and learn skills that will help them when choosing their career.
Needs:
1-Youth Volunteers with a proper experience.
2-Language skills (English is a must other than arabic)
3- Basic Computer Skills as windows, office tools and basic internet utilities.
