Description:
We are presently creating environmental clubs in schools without one and strengthening the already existing ones. and we are really calling on any like minded people to come and give us a hand since these schools are many. we need those who will visit some of these schools at different times and hold talks with them and help them with some activities and projects we are already carrying out.
Background:
we have realised that there can be no lasting solution to our environmental problems is we do not involved students in general and the youths in particular in our environmental activities so as to awaken the spirite of service in them and that is why we have decided to work with schools.
Objectives:
TO ACHEIVE A CLEAN AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT,SO AS TO AVOID HEALTH HASARDS. WE HOPE TO PUT FOWARD BY OUR ACTIONS EXAMPLES FOR OUR CITY COUNCIL AUTHORITIES TO FOLLOW AND MAKE THEM SEE WHAT A CLEAN CITY LOOKS LIKE.IN SHORT WE WORK FOR A HEALTHIER ECO-SYSTEM.
Milestones:
26 of september is the official lunching of our club activities in some schools and we are looking foward to have some new memeber in many schools.
Budget:
we have a running budget for this project and we do our best to keep the cost low and that is why we are ready to welcome any volunteers who would like to come in to give a helping hand. we will also welcome any financial or matirial help from any persons who want to encourage us.
Needs:
MAN POWER, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FROM OTHER INDIVIDUALS OR ORGANISATIONS THAT HAVE CARRIED OUT SIMILAR PROJECTS, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND GENERAL ADVICE ON HOW TO TACKLE THE PROJECT.
