Description:
FTMI Entertainment is a business that caters to musicians and other people interested in the creating music. It will serve as a platform to promote and create independant music taking advandtage of current and future technology. By providing a recording studio and practive space for musicians FTMI will be primmed for creativity. FTMI will also offer digital radio to promote these artists to larger audiences and FTMI will then chose to support selected artists that have the potential for commercial success as signed artists. The Stakeholders will be local artists, regional artists, producers, high school students, college students, university studends,and local businesses
Background:
Problem Statement: There is a lack of creative outlets for original and independant content in northern Ontario
Mission Statement: To provide a creative environtment for artists and to promote them directly to their audience.
Vision: This project is envisioned to be a leader in the creation of intellectual property and an innovator in the music industry.
The idea of Sean Matthews and Joseph Kargiannakis that started in the planning phases of releasing an EP. They found that their was no public recording studios and that it is extremely difficult to get air time of FM radio. They decided to address this issue with FTMI Entertainment.
Objectives:
Reach 1000 listeners in Sault Ste Marie within a year.
Reach 10 000 listeners in Ontario
Having all sections of the business sustainable
having 36 hours of studio utilization per month
