Description:
GYSD project involving over 200 youth volunteers in Jeddah to help raise awarness on individuals with mental and physical challenges.

Background:
Hope-for exceptional needs is organizing the project as part of the Global Youth Service Day iniciative. Hope is a not-for-profit life-skills rehabilitation center in Jeddah. It is the first center to offer rehabilitation in a multi-lingual environment. Hope accepts youth form age 10 months to 25 years. Most of the childern at hope have multiple disorders ie. in one child there may be a a mental disorder such as Autisim with a physical challenge such as low vision.

Objectives:
-To increase community awareness on the needs of Special individuals
-Celebrate Global Youth Service Day
-To bring together a diverse group of key stake holders in the society i.e. Corporates, Diplomats, Philanthropists, Parents and Centers providing Special Needs education and rehabilitation
-Raise funds to better serve the deserving children with special needs
-Launch the first edition of “Building Bridges”, a bi-annual magazine providing valuable insight into Special Needs Education and Rehabilitation

Tables for sale of the Bazaar portion of the event.
