The "International Student Movement" is a platform used by groups and activists around the world struggling against the increasing privatisation of public education and for free and emancipatory education to network and co-ordinate protests together.
Background:
The platform was initiated by a student activist in Germany who observed how many people are struggling against the commercialisation of public education around the world [which is actually promoted by global forces]. Therefore creating a platform where we can unite globally was just a logical conclusion.
