Description:
The Northern part of Nigeria has been tagged as "Technologicallly backward" and "IT deficient". InfoTech Corps being composed of ICT literate persons is committed to enlightening and empowering youths in the state.
InfoTech seeks to train the youths to be trainers who would take ICT knowledge to the nooks and crannies of the state and other neighbouring states in Nigeria.
Objectives:
Empowering youths in Tertiary institutions in the Northern part of Nigeria using ICT as a tool.
Training youths in Secondary Schools, motivating and encouraging them to pick up careers in ICT.
Organizing public enlightenment campaign in rural areas for youths who are less priviledge.
Bridging the Digital Divide in the Northern Part of Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
Needs:
* A laptop Computer for presentations and mobility
* Funding to travel and organize events.
* Computer Systems for training.
* Multimedia Projector for workshops and Seminars.
