We Have Done It…..
The 3rd, 4th &6th of Sebtember,2008 were non forgettable days in the Egyptian GYCA Team activities. At last our Kick HIVAIDS Out project comes to light in a great event for 3 days where youth were the stars, the owners, the organizers, the speakers and also the audience.
About 23 youth representing different NGOS &different faculties in Egypt had participated in Kick HIVAIDS Out project.The first 2 days were the training workshops that aimed at promoting youth action against HIVAIDS in Egypt, we gradually introduce to them HIVAIDS issue from the very beginning as basic knowledge, till how to deal and how to act through presentations, movies, activities and interactive discussions. Their feedback was inspiring; the majority of participants assured that the training workshop was their visa to understand, knoew ways to act positively towards HIVAIDS issue in Egypt.
We had the last day of the project at Al-Azhar Bark where voluntary counseling & testing for HIVAIDS was conducted to all participant. then we celebrate together
And we had done it &more perfect than we imagined. we worked hard to prepare for this event &our efforts were blessed by success by the end of the project we achieved our goals & had more people oriented, motivated, interested &the most important is we had done it to achieve our mission for utilizing efforts towards a better public health &life style in our community as well as to active members in our beloved country Egypt.
