A multimedia portal that will train youth leaders, young journalists and young social workers in covering actions and issues related to MDG and publish their materials using social networking and web 2.0. in order to became a valuable source of information for citizens.
Background:
There is a need among young people to know more about MDG: what has been done until know, actions, why MDG are important. Youth would like to participate in activities related to MDG using both the traditionally channels (organizing conferences, public events etc.) and the new social media networks such as forums, blogs, & to campaign online There is also a need of training in participation regarding MDG and growing need to inform about MDG through media – articles, interviews, good practices and models. rnrnUnderstanding the compromises and meaning of MDG requires a clear message and appropriate channels to aware youth on how to contribute.The good practices of youth on MDG actions needs promotion and support to gain visibilitySocial media can offer them possibilities for networking and worldwide coverage on MDG issues.
Objectives:
•To increase young people awareness and active participation on the MDG
•To develop the capacity of young people in covering MDG actions and good practises through training courses.
•To increase the usage of social media tools for networking and worldwide coverage on MDG.
MISSION
Empowering young people through non formal learning to understand act and disseminate MDG information using social media.
VISION
Young people united by social media actively covering MDG stories and actions.

We need young journalist,social workers,youth ngo workers or younsters between 18-35 years old interested in teh topic and willing to join the pilot project for one year.
