Soul Africa Nite in collaboration with Dumisani Nyoni, Cedza Dlamini, and Deirdre Brodie, invite you to a remarkable evening of socializing, networking, poetry, and live music. The goal is to raise funds in benefit of the Selula Sandla Orphanage in the Kingdom of Swaziland.
Featuring Boston based artists--singer Pumla (South Africa) and Poets U-meleni (Zimbabwe) and Derrick N. Ashong (Ghana)--the evening will bring together Boston’s most diverse crowd of interesting, engaged people committed to making a big difference, enjoying themselves and meeting and connecting with others at the same time.
Food and drinks will be available on the Enormous Room menu. Warm smiles will light up the room, and an incredible atmosphere will create an unforgettable evening!

Zimbabwe turns 25 on April 18, 2005. You are invited to an evening of celebration, networking and connecting! Last year we had a wonderful Independence Day celebration in Somerville bringing together over 50 people! This year, to celebrate Zimbabwe’s 25th Birthday, we are going to have a bigger and better celebration in the heart of Boston!
An Independence Day Celebration will be held at Tantric Bar and Grill in Boston’s Theatre District.

Cambridge, MA will host the funkiest, richest, most rhymalistic arts event of the year! Join us on December 4, 2004 at 6:30pm for a night of original poetry, live music, incredible conversations, cool connections and an electric atmosphere. At the fringes of the Systems Thinking Conference, a global conference that will bring together hundreds of sharp minds to better understand the systems that we live with, we can add flavor to the dialogue through spoken word, music and artistry! All profits go to Pioneers of Change and the Shire Learning Centre.

I am thrilled to announce that Ryles Jazz Club in Cambridge, MA will host the first Masazane event which will be co-hosted with Havana Club Salsa! The event will be to raise money for the work of the Red Cross in the Dominican Republic and Haiti to support victims of the recent floods. Event Highlights include Salsa, Merenge and Bachate lessons by DJ Seemore and DJ Cubano Jeff. Some of the best dancers in Boston and a very socially conscious crowd!
