We are still planning our own campaign which is schedule to take place on the 20 and 21 of April 2006. We decided to choose these days in other to plan well and also to actually achieve success from our campaign. However we have got so much support from our community people and even the youth ministry and the HIV/AIDS Secretariat in Freetown Sierra Leone. The AIDS Secretariat have offer us 3 boxes of Condoms and HIV Handbills for this campaign also the Ministry has provided us a free place to organize our workshop and finally our elders are morally and financially Contributing to make this event a success. However, we are facing a big challenge in getting health expectorates to voluntarily join us this event and even women but we are still undergoing more strategies that will make this campaign a big and resourceful one.

The challenge is when previous campaign seemed to fail or didn’t achieve the aim AND YOU CAN always tell from the participants moods and the group climate tend to change. Also Participants tend to loose morale and sometimes you will find them blaming each other, leaders are most likely to be blamed.

Here again leaders have to deal solving problems and therefore might loose innovative ideas to resolve the issue so to embark on another step on another campaign.

From my experience, in such situations I try to keep up the pace of each and every participant. I LISTEN careful their concerns and do not judge the views/complains.
I KEEP each failure as a group failure not an individual and always ask participants for solutions of each and every weakness the come up with or saw during the campaign.
