Title: E-Course On Project Management Location:
Global Categories: Education
Status:
In Progress
Timeline:
Ongoing
Description:
We will be using materials specifically prepared for this course, and additional suggested readings related to the topics being discussed each week. The course will have five modules delivered in four weeks. We will post the reading materials for each week at the end of the previous week (Fridays). Participants will be expected to read the course materials during the week-end and at the beginning of the week. During the week there will be an online discussion (not in real time) among participants, guided by the course moderators. The course is also based on the philosophy of peer-to-peer learning, so the weekly discussions among participants and the sharing of experiences are a key component. Participants can also ask questions to the authors of the course manual, who will respond at the end of the week. Assignments will be posted at project site every Monday after participants complete reading materials. A one-day workshop will be held at the end of E-course where participants who fulfill the entire requirements of course will be awarded a certificate.
Objectives:
The aim of this Internet Course is to equip Rotaractors with necessary tools and
techniques to handle different projects. This course will create a greater understanding of
Project and its facets. We Rotaract organize various project and programs related to
community service, professional development, international service and club service
including SAP (Special Area Project). While handling those projects we go through
different difficulties from managing people to money, time to resources. So taking into
consideration all these facts and assessing the need of such knowledge we have planned
to conduct this E-Course. The knowledge gained through this E-Course will be life-long
achievement.
