It brings together young delegates from all over the world to exchange views, share experiences and identify common opportunities and challenges.
The Final Report of the Forum is presented at the opening plenary session of the General Conference, allowing for the young delegates’ views, concerns and recommendations to be taken into account by the representatives of the Member States and the UNESCO Secretariat.
This online dialogue is held to reinforce the results of the Youth Forum.
The Forum’s main theme was "Investing out of the crisis: towards a partnership between UNESCO and youth organizations”. It was complemented by a cross-cutting theme on "Youth participation - UNESCO Youth Forum, a long term approach''. Furthermore, the different UNESCO Sectors (Social and Human Sciences/Youth, Education, Culture, Natural Sciences, Communication and Information and Bureau of Strategic Planning) presented their areas of work in Parallel Sessions.
