25 youth and municipal officials from Ethiopia, Rwanda and Sierra Leone, working in the Centres have been met at the United Nations Headquarters over the last three days to share best practices, lessons learned, cross-fertilize ideas, and discuss strategies and concrete steps to ensure sustainability and reach. The workshop provided participants an opportunity to crystallize their vision and local action and implementation plans.
Delegation of Kenya youth, running urban youth-led prorammes, participated in the workshop to ensure city to city learning and exchange. The Environmental Youth Alliance, a Canadian-based partner organization, provided training facilitation and support for this stocking taking exercise.
This was a great experience for me and all and would like members to share what they learnt and hope to replicate back at home at the centres.
