YES-Azerbaijan is proposing following dates for the YES-Country Coordinators
Leadership Forum and YES-2008 Summit.
YES-Country Coordinators Leadership Forum: 16-17 September, 2008
Forth YES-2008 Summit: 18-20 September, 2008
Currently YES-Azerbaijan is working with the Government of Azerbaijan on
following items:
• Scholarships for 100 people (YES-Country Coordinators and YES HQ and
honorable quests of YES). Please note: scholarships does not include any
international or local travels.
• Scholarships will include ( food, accommodation and internal
transportation)
• Azerbaijan Government will provide venue for both events. Cultural
activities will be provided.

YES-Azerbaijan distributed information about last happenings in Pakistan. YES-Azerbaijan role in this process is to mobilize youth initiatives and assistant programs from Azerbaijan to Pakistan.

On 8th of September, 2005, the YES Azerbaijan board and active members of YES-Azerbaijan launched a quarterly report meeting on progress of YES-Azerbaijan. Board Member of YES-Azerbaijan informed Yes-Azerbaijan Board about the news of launching Azerbaijan Youth Parliament. The foundation of Youth Parliament was the result of incredible efforts of YES-Azerbaijan Board Members, Mr. Fuad Muradov, Mr. Fuad Dergahly and Mr. Samir Taghiyev. These three youth leaders effectively lobbied and influenced to the decision and policy makers in Azerbaijan on letting Azeri youth to come together and formulate their own independent parliament. Mr. Fuad Dergahly briefly reported on the other project activities of YES-Azerbaijan and also indicated some challenges as well.
Mr. Fuad Muradov emphasized that YES-Azerbaijan could be more active in the Azerbaijan society and he stated that the problem is very urgent for us to solve. Other board and active members also shared their progress and problems during the report meeting.
At the result of the quarterly report meeting it was decided that YES Azerbaijan should start to be more active in Azerbaijan society. YES-Azerbaijan Board appointed Mr. Samir Taghiyev to act as a YES-Azerbaijan Country Coordinator again, and also Mr. S. Taghiyev keeps his position as a respective YES-Azerbaijan Board Member. Mr. Anar Aslanov resigned from YES-Azerbaijan Country Coordinator position because of other work related overload.
