Description:
The Yes India Network is a youth led national
level coalition focusing on promoting youth
employment in the country. The main aim is to
work with diverse stakeholders comprising of opinion leaders, policy makers, government agencies, youth activists, youth organizations, NGOs, corporates, media and other groups to develop programmes and projects for youth employment and creation of sustainable livelihoods for youth.
Objectives:
To promote the goal of Youth Employment Summit Campaign in India and to bring together diverse stakeholders to generate solutions to the challenges of youth unemployment.
The YES India Network works for
Enabling young people to be involved in productive and decent work
Building the capacities of young people to be leaders
Creating an entrepreneurial culture to promote youth employment
Adopting the 6 Es of Employability, Employment Creation, Equity, Entrepreneurship, Environmental
Sustainability and Empowerment for youth
