The YES Country Network has been idle for sometime, but members should strive to contact the National Youth Council of Malawi fo the latest update on the programmes. A new programme will be implemented within 2007 to support Vocational skills training in collaboratio with the Youth Development Network of South Africa. Currently please send your comments of what you would want theYES Malawi to be focusing on and the need for a five year strategy to cover the last years of the campaign.

A year after quiting as Coordinator of the Youth Employment Summit-YES Malawi, I have decided to resume the process which has completely come to a halt in Malawi. I hope this time we will be able to appreciate the contributions that we all make individually. However my work is only in the interim capacity as we work with the National Youth Council to identify a permanent structure and individuals. I still coorinate the YEN Malawi process and the Representation of Young Malawians at the Commonwealth. I hope to develop linkages on areas that the three programmes an work together. Lastly could all those intending to travel to KENYA be in touch for a preparatory meeting to be held at the Ministry of Youth, Capital Hill early January 2006 that we can agree on logistics.
