YES Kenya is carrying out this survey, whose objective is to gauge the status of entrepreneurship among the Kenyan youth, two years after the launch of the Youth Enterprise Development Fund by the Kenya Government. Valuable information obtained from this effort will be shared with primary stakeholders in SME support and development to enrich their decision processes in supporting youth business initiatives
Background:
The avenues for economic empowerment for Kenyan youth are as diverse yet very little impact has been felt on the ground. It is with this fact in mind thatwe are commissioning this project to find out from the youth themselves on their perspective on the entrepreneurship arena in Kenya.
Objectives:
To Gauge the status of entrepreneurship among the Kenyan youth.
Milestones:
Over 5 years of working with youth in Kenya on entrepreneurship and empowerment programs.
