Through the years of journalism practice, that I have spent, especially in comtemporary society dotted with rural life,I have seen deprieved people, their exclusion from government, poverty and poor state of social amenities, and have come to terms with the fact that while it is good to engage the government, the public should also be tasked with issues of interest that would impact on them in a partcipatory community spirit.

Participatory platform discourages aloftness. When the educated understands,it is good but when the illiterates are ignored society become endangered. There is need therefpre to take the time to move them to a position of understanding.

However, understanding does not come easy, both to the educated and the illiterate. Though the educated has a better inclination to it.When understanding is solicited for policies and programmes, plaguing issues should not be ignored to douse frictions.

Genuine opinions that are useful in all respects should be harnessed. They are good for the local community nd could be useful to help activities at the national sphere.

In the face of these challenges, the media task becomes more demanding in finding a sure way on how to channel, coordinate and drive into mainstream of national focus issues of ignored rural communities.

The need is therefore urgent with a devoted focus to tackle policy makers and enforcement agencies to drive growth with every shade of education at the rural areas where majority of the people live.

This is so because no meaningful economic and political growth is tenable when the divide is wide. This calls for mentoring resources and education through journalism activities and reportage vigorously provided;the journalist challenge.

This direction, eventually, puts the citizenry on a pedestal of contributive participation platform for national growth.

Another Special Announcement:

To all ABC4All Mentors:

A while ago we shared that there would be a series of major announcements that will be revealed in the coming weeks and months as ABC4All solidifies relationships with supportive groups/companies.

It is another special opportunity to share that ABC4All and the nonprofit, Stained Glass World (SGW), are committing to a partnership that can greatly add to the momentum that has been building. It will help make a difference to create UNITY across DIVERSITY so many are working towards in the World:

Founder Jonathan George has focused his life on youth via entertainment and music. Using the entertainment world, he is bringing focus to SGW and its mission to bring communities together to ultimately build self-esteem in our youth, which will impact generations to come. SGW extends support to any and all nonprofits / NGO's across the world, which makes a common focus of SGW and ABC4All to work jointly towards this goal.

Of note, Jonathan has been spearheading a group of young entertainers:

"Introducing LA's hottest and youngest vocal and dance troupe......The Hollywood Hipstars!

"Young Hollywood film/TV stars, aged 5-12, have joined forces to entertain audiences throughout the LA area with fresh, choreographed routines set to top music from the 40's-2000's. These kids deliver vocal power as a group, finesse as individuals and bond together to bump, stomp and groove to our favorite songs. They are becoming one of the most sought after groups for top charity benefits, award shows, as well as main entertainment for street fairs, festivals, and parades.

"Under the direction and guidance of Jonathan George, president of JJPZ Talent Development (JJPZ) and one of the top developers of young artists, these kids shine! Jonathan's success in the music industry not only comes from his dedication to empower kids through the arts, but also from his professional career as an entertainer and artist."

His clients include: Pussy Cat Dolls, Canadian Idol, American Idol Finalists Elizabeth Huett (Dance War) and Brian Miller, Carter Jenkins (Viva Lafland, Bad News Bears, Surface, Keeping Up with the Steins), Aubree Storm (High School Musical National Tour), Victoria Justice (Lola on Zoey 101), Kelci Paige (Radio Disney, America's Most Talented Kids, Jay Leno), Lil' Bubba (Recording Artist, America's Most Talented Kids), Caitlyn Taylor Love (America's Got Talent Finalist, Miss Texas Teen USA), Joy Lauren (Desperate Housewives), Alex Schlereth (Desires), Michelle Belegren (Desires), Ambrosia Kelley (Kill Bill), Anthony Ghannam (Prince Ronan- Bambi 2), Christina Robinson (Dexter), Taylor Kirk (America's Most Talented Kids), Libby Foster (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 2008), Jillian Hill (Voice of Fisher's Play All Day Toddler Doll, Bambi 2), Camille Abordo, BRI, Hollywood Hooligan's (Christmas, Broadway Hits, and Rock Cds), and Infant Records Compilation CD to name a few.

Thus another common focus exists between ABC4All and SGW: YOUTH! Entertainment can be FUN! With combined efforts at creating FUN experiences while we FUNdraise all over the world for worthwhile causes including the creation of "Self-FUNding4All," ABC4All/SGW enter into a joint venture.

We are pleased to share this association between ABC4All and SGW and look forward to expanding efforts to support worthwhile causes all over the world.

Better Community for all its best to share knowledge

Jan 26th, 2008 - 05:43:56 | A Better Community for All (ABC4All)
To mark the second anniversary of the ABC4All Global Mentoring TEAM Project on TIG, a new set of web pages has been created. As always, any suggestions or feedback will be welcome.

Our profound gratitude in expressed to 485 ABC4All Mentors who have joined the project to date. Mentors learn from one another and benefit others by sharing information that can prove helpful. Always Mentors find their own way of participating with ABC4All and through that process of discovery are able to assist with their local efforts to work towards improving communities.

A strong message of HOPE has been a focus throughout our collective effort. One major HOPE is that there can be real assistance provided to those most in need throughout the world. That is what motivates "A Better Community for All."
