This project page is for those that would like to join the Ad Hoc Working Group on Youth Leaving Care.
Background:
The Modernizing Income Security for Working Age Adults expressed an interest in chidren aging out of care resulting in the formation of a loosely-knit ad hoc group on aging out of care. The group continues I has outlived o meet from time to tome and has discovered an ongoing value in staying connected. It has outlived MISWAA which reported on May 15, 2006.
To have an informal and sustainable online space where conributors from across Canada can openly share information & knowledge related to aging-out. This includes youth, agency staff, academics, networks, independent social policy consultants, foundations, workers, researchers, artists, government staff, activists and advocates.
