Well dear, unfortunately there is no magical solution that help quittin smoking soon as we hope , otherwise, antismoking campaigns would have come to reality .
the best thing to do when thinking of changing behaior is to work on it over the long run . basicly through creating awareness to the COSTS of this behavior. So keep passin some information with regard to the side effects of smoking and Shocking figures whenever possible. then keep advising that quiting smoking is a matter of giving a bad habbit and to do so all you need is WILL and TIME.
Offcourse you need to pass such information through indirect ways or let me say at least in a very friendly one. otherwise, your work would be like lecturing over ppl's heads.somethin nobody likes.
eventualy if there is awareness and there is will ( strong desire ) to change then you will end with good results.
try to make her perceive herself as a standing alone girl who could do something wonderful - that could not be achieved by the majority - which is to overcome a bad habit and be in good health .
thats what i could advise about on the spot
best luck in in your respectful mission
