The Academy for the Rights of the Child (ARC) is a partnership between Argosy University, School of Undergraduate Studies - Tampa (ages 18 years and up) and Community Tampa Bay's Hillsborough Youth Collaborative (ages 14-20). The ARC is a one year series of monthly workshops that focus specifically on Articles 12-17 from the Convention on the Rights of the Child. These articles centralize around the child's right for civic participation.
Objectives:
To create a dynamic and reciprocal learning experience whereby all members function as both teacher and learner in an active process of change.
Needs:
Other national and international youth groups to engage in global discussions via Skype.
