UMBC alumna Truc Nguyen set up the first Locks of Love hair drive with the Resident Assistant (RA) Program 6 years ago. Since then, on or around the first Wednesday of May has witnessed the hair drive on campus. Wednesday, May 7, was to be no different!
Many thanks to Rachel Kabik and the ladies of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi sorority for helping cosponsor this great event with Artists for Social Change!
Thanks also to the many volunteer hair cutters of Hair Cuttery in the Catonsville area and of course to the hair donors!
Check out the photos from the event in the "Photo Album" section and stay tuned for more details in the latest issue of the Dispatch!

The latest issue of the Dispatch is out! Check it out for news on ASC activities & how to get involved.
Below is a snapshot of Tarrick, Madison and Eric. It was taken @ the nearby Delrey School in Maryland. Maddy and the other students really enjoy the dance/art lessons from Artists for Social Change volunteers. But whether we or the students enjoy it the most is very hard to tell! (*Hint Hint*- you should come out on Tuesdays and join us if you're in the Baltimore area!!)
Have a great week everyone! Hope it's fruitful and enjoyable!
