Description:
Africa Youth Empowerment Scheme Project 1, is a project that is highly concentrated in the area of capacity building (Youth Empowerment) and helping people living with HIV/AIDS through ICT and other related means.
Background:
The Youth Empowerment Scheme is targeted at creating good job opportunity and enhancing development in rural communities.\r\n\r\nThe Phase 1 of this project is centered on a skill acquisition training, capacity building, involving 12 rural communities in Nigeria, covering a wide range of subject in computer training, welding, hair dressing, tailoring, baking, investment, mechanized farming system, furniture making, poultry management, driving etc.
Objectives:
To motivate self for performance excellence\r\nDisclose the implication of violence on societal development.\r\nCreate good, positive idea for their immediate needs and wants.\r\nReduce the rate of youth unemployment, poverty etc.
Milestones:
At the end of the project, participants will be able to blend positive idea and control their own, and consequently other\'s emotional states to bring about desired results. Participant will be awarded a certificate, a start-up capital, a complete set of equipment in his/her area of participation
Budget:
An estimated budget of Fifty Million naira for over 2,000 participants
