To all members who are keeping track of this project still:

I am starting my master's in information studies the university of Toronto, and this idea might just have a place to incubate, or at least, where I can try to spring it to life. Life happens, but as long as we don't forget our dreams, there's still a chance it could happen.

Sometimes we're just waiting for the right time.

Hey Marge. I haven't posted in so long, I feel so bad, it's been so busy, but I definately want to get this started up again. There are a ton of anime conventions coming up soon and also if you could email me at sumanbanik@hotmail.com or add me to your messenger on the same account please do so,because I barely check this as well. I have alot of ideas and I already did alot of interviews for school for anime and the youth artistic revolution. I think theres alot of art that can be used and thers alot of potential out there especially locally in events like these anime conventions as well I work at the peel heritage centre, so there are alot of amazingly talented youth artists. So just let me know of any ideas of things you would like me to try to do. Thanks alot,
Suman Banik

Suman, and others: It's very strange, but I don't get an e-mail when there are updates posted here, so please e-mail me directly! Or icq 3419043.

As for the anime convention, I think it's a good idea, if the project was all ready under way! I hope you'll still attend and enjoy yourself there, and if you would like to showcase an artist and try out what it's like to put it together, I say go for it. Unfortunately, I can't help you hook up with a designer or photographer at the moment, but i think even having one element would be something.

And I think the 'exercise' of doing it will give you something to work with.

Hey this isn't much of a progress report, but I think I got a great idea on my hands. Well, I always sort of had the idea for the anime convention. Of course, yah I do know the people can be "a bit" intense which is an underexaggeration, but there is actually alot of artists there that aren't. I mean I've gone for two year in a row, and aside from some overly excitable sci-fi fans and the occasional hardcore anime fanatic, there are always the mixture of clueless anime lovers wandering the convention looking to seek out the talents of found in the artistic minds of canadian individuals. I will be attending another anime convention this March 20th-21st. I was wondering if you could help me out Marge and try to let me know if you are interested in setting it up. There's alot of time and I'm 100% committed to the convention. I'll be attending regardless or not and I'll be writing a report, taking photos and videotaping regardless for the anime club that I run at school. It's just a trip suggestion and the door cost is only $10. Let me know what you think at ccstar_spectacle@hotmail.com I'd love to know your feedback and to see if anyone would be interested to really get this project on the roll and moving full speed ahead ^_^! Bye for now!

Gah, why don't I get e-mails when there are updates on the progress report? Please e-mail me directly to remind me.

Anime is a valid form of art, but I find fans who attend the conventions are a little...intense. I would've taken you on the offer though, however. Unfortunately I'm a month and more too late!

Movements happening with the project...as my summer has suddenly freed up. Goal? A prototype of what may be. Interface design, logo finalized, maybe at least 1 article up. I'll be happy with that.

I hope to write all of you in the near future.
