Dear Global Citizens

The purpose of this letter is to invite you to get involved in CAPE TO CAIRO CALL TO CRISIS 2008.

OBJECTIVE: The objective of Cape to Cairo call to crisis is to raise awareness about the crises of AIDS, POVERTY, AND WAR that ravage the continent of Africa. It is especially a call to African nations to join efforts in gathering resources to fight AIDS, reduce poverty and end wars. We also want to continue bringing awareness to the developed countries and the need for them to increase support for this cause.

THE TRIP: The trip is scheduled to start on Friday, 08/08/08 in Cape Town in South Africa through countries like Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan, and Egypt.

WHAT THIS MEANS TO ME: The fight for AIDS and POVERTY is an issue that I take very personal. I have lost close friends and family members to the epidemic. This will be the first time an African has taken such a trip to raise awareness on the above issues. It is my obligation as a citizen of the continent to treat these concerns with the urgency they deserve.

This idea has just been launched and is in its infancy. I am looking for partners to help in providing ideas, encouragement and even gather resources for my trip. It will require a huge global network. Partners are still needed in Latin America, North America, and Asia. The primary job of partners will be to promote and bring awareness to CAPE TO CAIRO CALL TO CRISIS 2008 that’s all. I do strongly believe that at this point I won’t have to worry about resources because as we bring awareness resources will be provided. Plus I will need five to seven people to help drive on the trip. Please let me know if you know people who will be interested in this trip. The more people the better and the bigger the impact.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at 317-870-8757. I will be on this number until end of February. Otherwise I can be contacted via email at wes_ngwenya@yahoo.com.

I hope you will join the cause. ONE CALL FOR MANY CAUSES.

Sincerely,

Wesley Ngwenya
