Change That Clicks has finally launch an exclusive website where people can learn about the program. It is still under development but we would love to include your pictures and videos from your centres (if they are not already there); and please post a blog on this site or drop me an email to tell us what you think about the new website.

Hello everyone,
To followup on Brittany's Call-to-Action announcement, I and the rest of the TakingITGlobal team were excited to watch and score your super fabulous Call-to-Actions. We were so impressed with all your hard work and your demonstration of true youth leadership that we decided to feature the environment themed videos for our earth day celebrations.
A special thanks goes out to the dedication and hard work of all the facilitators who successfully started and completed the Change That Clicks program this year.
Your all awesome!!
Peace & Smiles from Sheridy, Kimia, Mai, and TakingITGlobal

The Final Leg of the Road… Change That Clicks Update
Hey everyone,
This will be one of the last blog updates of the Change That Clicks this year , but that doesn’t mean you’re interaction with the Change That Clicks program as part of the Change That Clicks program is over. Although some of us had late starts with the program, the clubs that ran the program has had phenomenal success thus far with engaging their youth and really making the program their own. On TakingITGlobal’s end, it was a pleasure and a honour to meet all of you and to get to know most of you over the past couple of months. However, as this year’s program grows to a close within many of the participating Boys and Girls Clubs centres, I will also be leaving the Change That Clicks program to pursue other opportunities related to youth and social change. So this month’s update is bittersweet but also very important, so if you have any questions at all or would just like to meet up and touch base on things before the program ends please feel free to email or call me at any time.
What should you expect to cover until the end of this year’s program?
a. WHERE ARE WE: By now most clubs have already completed the program or are in the process of completing this year’s Change That Clicks program.
b. CALL-TO-ACTION: For those of you who have already finished all the modules of the program (or close to finishing) here is some information on the final modules, the “Call-to-Action”:
1) Please let Brittany or myself know whether or not you plan to submit a video presenting your clubs call-to-action before Friday April 3rd, 2009.
2) If enough clubs (at least 4) decide to participate in this final Call-to-Action contest, then each participating centre can email their videos to me, sheridy@takingitglobal.org. The videos will be voted on by TakingITGlobal staff and the ‘winning’ Call-to-Action will win a prize to be finalized by the National Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada office.
3) All videos submissions should be sent to TakingITGlobal between April 3rd and April 17th, and the winning video will be announced via email (sent by Brittany) on April 24th. Remember to indicate on your video file name the name of your centre and participants if applicable.
c. CHANGE THAT CLICKS WEBSITE: Change That Clicks is getting its own informational website very soon and we would like to feature some your photos, videos, stories, and testimonials from your club on the website. With the permission of your club, please email all your photos, videos, stories, and testimonials to me AND CC’d Brittany to post on the Change That Clicks website to be hosted on the TakingITGlobal website. No youth will be explicitly identified on the website (e.g. no last names will be posted online, and images will not be identified by participant’s real name).
d. Evaluations: Beginning this month, all evaluations or curriculum materials should be mailed to Brittany or John at the National Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada office not TakingITGlobal.
e. Don't forget to keep up with all your evaluation materials which include:
-the pre-survey,
-program evaluation discussion board questions (open-ended and poll; every module),
-recorded discussion feedback session (module 13),
-the post-test survey (module 12),
-your activity logs (every module).
Before I go I would like to thank everyone for signing up and for helping to make this year’s Change That Clicks program a HUGE SUCCESS!
Peace & Keep up the great work!
