to describe your identity online you would use a fake name to describe your identity so if there was anyone you diddnt know they wouldnt know who you are
To describe your identity ofline you would use your real name because you know who your talking to, someone you know and and trust and also someone who knows you

As a person online my identity is very similar to my one off line. People still know who I am; Like what my name is and what city I live in.
But offline I don't give my age, birthday or where my house ect. Unless I know who they are and know them very well.
My identity Offline, everyone knows me.
They know what I look like, when my birthday is ect.
I have more friends online then offline.

My identy online is what I don't mind the public knowing about me. It would involve things like a username that contains no personal information. Also, it is what I tell people about me online.
My identity offline is who I am with my friends. Things like what my real name is, what school I go to, and where I live.
