Description:
The CSD12 Youth Caucus is the grouping of young people involved in the the Twelfth Session of the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD12). This will be the Commission's second global meeting devoted to sustainable development since the Johannesburg Summit. Hence this new session has a crucial role to play in providing sound political direction to the implementation of the Johannesburg outcomes and Agenda 21 and to the on-going phases of the Commission's work.

- To provide constructive input from a youth perspectiove
- To continue the development of an effective structure to support youth participation in international policy processes around sustainable development.
This Global Dialogue aims to empower national governments to assume more effective global leadership in developing policy approaches that will promote the contribution of water, sanitation, and human settlements to sustainable development in areas within their responsibility.
