Welcome to TakingITGlobal's first Global Call-to-Action event, Dialogue Change, in association with the International Labour Association.

This year's Dialogue Change event is all about learning how to engage in intercultural dialogues that are not just about chit chat, but about how we as global citizens can learn to think, reflect, and express ourselves diversely.

We at TakingITGlobal encourage you at the start of the month of May (May 1st, 2009...) to learn more about using intercultural dialogue as a tool to ignite diversity. Then with that knowledge, you can begin to put those lessons into practice by starting your own intercultural dialogues within your local communities and on the discussions boards on this project page.

As an added bonus of this event and in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Convention 182, a Global call to end the worst forms of child labour, we are asking youth everywhere to reflect on the issue of child labour both diversely and artistically by creating their own piece of art (e.g. photographs, paintings, sculptures, etc.) that they can make digital copies of (i.e. take a digital photo) and submit online to a special section of TakingITGlobal's Global Gallery (address to be announced soon!) starting May 15th, 2009.

Don't be shy and join in on our global dialogues and artistic expressions of child labour.

Peace,

Sheridy
