Background:
Through the Change That Clicks program the Eastview Boys and Girls Club were asked to come up with a Call-To-Action -- a project that contributes positively to our community. We decided to help the environment by recycling in our Club and by recycling pop tabs to raise funds for wheelchairs!
Objectives:
To promote recycling in our community and to change recycling habits in our Club. To use recycling to raise funds through pop tabs to purchase wheelchairs to sick kids.
Milestones:
To collect 1 million pop tabs with YOUR help!
1000 pop tabs = 1 pound; 1 pound = 60 cents; 1 wheelchair = 700 dollars
Needs:
Pop tabs! Send them to: Eastview Neighbourhood Community Centre 86 Blake Street, Toronto, ON, M4J 3C9
