Description:
this is a community for young professionals interested in Education, and particularly the issues of Education for All (as captured in the Millennium Development Goal 2) and Education for Sustainable Development (we are in the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development until 2014).
This project will aim at connecting interested young professionals to each other, facilitate discussion and information exchange, and enable easy dissemination of information about education matters.
The purpose of the IYPF's Education community is to have young education and other professionals sharing with each other knowledge, research and information about education for all and for sustainable development and to use this knowledge to create and implement new solutions to local, regional and international problems.
We look forward to your involvement.
Objectives:
-to act as a think tank in education and related areas and provide a compendium of resources for people involved in research and other areas of development
-to formulate ideas and plans for the development of the goal of education for all and education for sustainable development
-to inform people about the various educational oppurtunities, both continuing and research education inclusive of internship and scholarship oppurtunities
