Description:
A social club to bring together neighbours from the St. Clair/Bathurst area in Toronto, Canada. We will do this by playing shinny bimonthly at a local ice arena.
Background:
I'm new to the community and I'm hoping to get involved with some of the locals.
Objectives:
To consitently provide 10 minutes of instruction and 50 minutes of playing time to 15 - 20 neighbours in the region. This should be directed to improving community ties and the health of those members of the club.
Milestones:
First meeting.rnProven advance in skills through short lessons at the beginning of each session.rnSeason ending social event.
Budget:
Budget needs will be met by asking members for $10-20 for each ice session attended.rnrnApproximately $400/month in total.
Needs:
Members.rnInstructors (presumably these will be drawn from members but we may look outside of the program for celebrity instructors)rnPossibly equipment to encourage members without their own.
