Description:
As HIV expands from epidemic to pandemic, the world seeks a solution to put a stop on the meteoric rise of medical afflictions. Such is the alarming permeation of the said disease that a group of concerned youths created First AIDS Kit (a project that aims to create awareness and prevent HIV/AIDS infection among youths) in response to this threat. It may not be enough to help the entire world, but at least it may help a part of it. There may be no solution for its healing, but there is a solution for its spreading. During 2008, about 2.7 million people around the world got infected with HIV; at the same year, around 2 million people died of AIDS. To help prevent this in three target locations in Malaysia, First AIDS Kit has one simple solution: peer education. By helping each other learn about HIV, We will prevent further spreading of the aforementioned affliction by building behavior change competence among youths, the stakeholders of the future.
