Description:
I'll be straight foward, our project is young and small, it has yet no funding, it is very marginal and is hosted by two young adult (20 and 21 yrs of age) but our project certainly has a heart and a soul!
We believe that it would be all wrong to try to show africans what to do or to impose any of our ideas... We believe that everything africans need to make a change is fully inate.... but we also believe that all thoses years of being brought down to slaves by white colonizers has made them loose all confidence in themselves....till this day.
The project was born to contribute in helping Ghana's communities mostly by giving them the proper confidence, motivation, knowledge and ressources to find and work on their own alternative sustainable lifestyles and by promoting cooperation, get people to work TOGETHER! We do so by offering anyone, at any age, from any country, with whatever diploma, background, experience, religion and financial situation a chance to volunteer in a great community. We think that anyone that is willing to leave their home to join a small project like ours in a remote village in west-africa definitly has something to bring to the community. We are there to give a chance to enjoy the african way of life by LIVING IT entirely. A chance to have fun, a chance to experience another great culture, a chance to feel good about yourself and, most of all, a chance to find a more OBJECTIVE way to perceive the type of society each volunteer comes from. They come, work and live under their own expenses (no housing fee... just gotta buy your food and pay for your transport...which is probably way cheaper than any other *organised* projects) They owe us nothing and vice-versa. They are welcome to participate to our project or work on their own. That is what my partner and myself had always been looking for... in a volunteering project... since we didn't find one,....well, we started one!. To put this in a more comprehensible way, we own some piece of land, a house and have loads of ideas, contacts, friends and all this in a great, friendly but unfortunately needy community.. ... Overall, everything any volunteer could wish for :o)

Objectives:
As I said in the description, our project is small, it has no specific goals so far but to make the african lifestyle THE futur way of life. To our opinion, the african lifestyle is way closer to how human were ment to live than what we have experienced in our oversuperficial *developped* countries. When people talk about *security*, I can assure them that africans are way above us all. With the direction the world has been taking recently, if anything has to happen (and it will eventually have to)... *developped* countries will be begging africans for help!. They have never had much of a financial situation so they have learned to survive with the little they had--And doing a pretty good job at it if you ask me.
We believe that most of the problems that africans are facing are caused either by *developped* countries lifestyles, their influence on 3rd world countries or by the bad habit africans have acquired of always trying to copy them(capitalism). The result can only be deception. For some countries to bare living a lifestyle that is dedicated to overconsumption, some others need to suffer. Thats the rule. The world does just not hold enough ressources for everyone to have material and money as a God.
So, yes, all this to say that our project's goal is to help with some aspects that are not right in the african lifestyle to eventually make it the most wholesome way of life. Since we have always hated the fact of concentrating all of our efforts into one community, we hope that with time, if everything works out as planned, we will find a way to show, teach and consequently, spread the right steps into creating this new lifestyle in other communities.

Needs:
To be really straight foward, we need people that think alike to contact us. We need guidance, volunteers, some financial help (as much as i hate to admit it..), more ideas, advices, contacts and... well, people with certain knowledge in organic gardening (agriculture), composting, education, new sustainable methodes of living, health prevention and ist aid and , well, anything. As i said, we believe that every single person that wants to volunteer has something to bring to our community.
