Description:
A 501(c) 3 charity Foundation promoting Peace projects and Education in confloct resolution and basic human values. Operates the HUMAN RACE FOR PEACE project and the PEOPLE HONORING PEOPLE project.
Background:
Founded by Int'l artist and mediator Haydn Anthony who has done humanitarian projects worlldwide since the Vietnam conflict. Haydns projects and art can be viewed at www.haydnanthony.com. She started this Foundation to incude individuals worldwide who wish to contribute to a better world.
Objectives:
To connect all global citizens who are concerned with the world condition via the GREAT HEART BRACELETS. This bracelet identifies the wearer as a person who is in the 'Human Race for Peace 'or who has ben honored with a bracelet for doing something good. Money from the sale of bracelets support the peace and education projects at the foundation
Milestones:
Honoring everyday people with GREAT HEART bracelets. Developing a prototype educational project for children in Uganda teaching basic human vaues and conflict resolution.
Budget:
The Foundation budget depends upon the sale of bracelets. No salaries are paid and all money received goes into the projects.
Needs:
The Foundation has not asked for or received donations or sponsorship until now. It is growing. It now needs publicity, advertising money, video production dollars ( for social network videos) video cameras for the U.S. and Uganda, financial donors, sponsors and Angel donors for special projects such as bracelets for wounded vets. and money for education materials for the rescued children in the educational project in Uganda.
