How can we make the Millennium Development Goals possible?
Half Time 2008 is a project to celebrate and the half time between the MDG conference 2001 and 2015 when the goals should be reached.
During 2008 we will host a large number of activates to show the world that we all need to work a little bit more to reach the goals. We will inspire, show good examples and plan for the next seven years, what do we need to do?
Background:
The background is that the development of the goals is quite dark. And right now it looks like the goals are not going to be reached by 2015. But we think that we can take the symbolic in "half time" between the decisions of the goals and 2015 to inspire and motivate leaders and activists to work harder to fulfill the goals.
Objectives:
The objectives are:
* To celebrate the half time of the MDG:s.
* To create different activities during 2008 to inspire and motivate key actors to make the goals real.
