Project Detail
My project is give service for youths to help them improving their capacities especially in Magway. The project will give library service, English Language Training, Knowledge sharing session, Book discussion and information sharing. Moreover, it will initiative Youth Networking forum among youths. The project will mobilize youths to practice in the current project and give the work experiences to them. In this way, most of the youth in Magway will be improved their skills and knowledge.
Background:
If one state desire to develop, it is need to be strength civic institution. For that, it is also need to strong civil societies. There are three sectors for national governance; state sector, private sector and civil societies. Without strong civil societies, any state can\'t get development and democracy. So, the foundation of institution or civil societies is essential need for any state.
To get strong institution, the capacities of citizen will need to be strong. Among them, the youth\'s capacities are essential because they will become the leaders of the nation in the future. If we can fulfill the youths\' capacities, we can initiate for the national development. It is also the supra structure of the nation. So, we decide our vision that to improve the strength of youths\' capacities for the nation building, in other words, civic empowerment or institutionalization.
For that, we had to create enabling environment for the youths. Our organization, Social Care Volunteer Group, also serve for that at a portion. In this environment, we create learning centre, library, training, informal and formal discussion with youths and other opportunities.
In Magway, there are seven universities and the total numbers of students is about 40000. But, there is scare of enabling environment for youths. This is why, there are increasing juvenile delinquency rate among youths. As a result, the Sexually transmitted disease, crime rate, road traffic accidents and other youth’s related problems is also increasing. So, they need enabling environment for their personal development.
When we can support for their development, most of youths will become polite and try for themselves and their development.

1. Form the youths library committee with local stakeholders and youths

7. Give other training needed for youths such as communication skills, leadership skills.
