Progress report for invisible city January 11, 2007
Last week we started a project entitled photo op. what this required is that we taken several different picture that cause for different things. For example we had to take one photo of symmetry, Repetition, Framing, Continuous Mode, Close -up, Exploration, Movement, these are themes of the different photos. We were also given a Syllabus of rules, policy, goals, and thing that that we will be introduced to and working on thought out this class. We were given a schedule of what we are going to be doing on a daily bases. This week we were given a history/timeline worksheet. With that we had to find and artist from one of the links that was given find the name of the art work and the year. We also had to find out events that happen that year that it was made and question that we gather while looking at the photo.

Today in invisible city we talked about our upcoming project on researching a artist and we looked at black and white street pictures to recognize things that someone would not look at in different ways. We also look into the pictures to guess what the person in the picture was doing by their facial expression. We had an assignment last night and we had to define some words that had things to do with photography. The words were; composition, symmetry, repetition, close-up, continuous, introspection.
