Maximise the use of Refurbished Computers in Communities with an Environmental aspect in mind.
Background:
The demand of Computes in my country is high and also is the negative environmental impact as the result of emission and polution either direct or indirect by these equipments if not handled well.
We have been recieving refurbished computers from Computer Aid Internation of UK and we have designed an environmental Awareness Project to teach our people about the advantage of these computers to the development,Job creation and the bridging of the Digital bridge.
Parts like VDU(Monitors) are refurbished and turned into Television sets and sold to the market at a fee hence creating income and reducing hold poverty and help the environment.
System cases are given to metal fabricators and melted into other items like source pans etc.
Copper wires ,plastic and any aluminium is also given to crap deals for the same.
Objectives:
To Make better use of the parts of any broken down equipment and recycle them to avoid negative impact.

Budget:
Producing a TV Set from a Broken down Computer Monitor requires Uganda Shillings 100,000 therefore if we are to work on 10 Monitors we shall need 500,000
We also neeed 400,000 Quarterly for administrative and operational costs.
