The Turkish government and the governments of other undemocratic countries spend millions of dollars every year to manipulate scholarship in American universities. The Turkish government's efforts in this area have been directed almost entirely to denying the Armenian Genocide.

This is not an attempt to re-write history, as Turkey and its powerful lobby have done for so long. This is a blunt view at a horrific event in human history, and I make no attempt to ridicule and mock the suffering of a nation by making it seem less than it is. There is a fire that burns within each Armenian, and that is a fire that cannot be extinguished.
