Description:
iPraise is an interdenominational group of young Christian professionals who have talent in music. This foundation comprises of people who have great passion for Christian music and wants to see it grow to a cloudy height.
It is also an advocasy group that advocate on issues that affects the young ,the old and the country as a whole. It ranges it activities from Education, Health, Human Right, culture,Media and Peace and Conflicts.
Background:
this organisation is set up mainly to address the issues that are affecting young people in particular in communities, colledges, universities and the country as a whole. Young people in particular the rural areas have been vulnerable to health epidemic like HIV/AIDS, TUBERCULOSIS ETC... Gender based violence has been the order of the day in my most places (especially the rural areas)where poverty, early marriage and Fenale Genital Mutilation is taken as culture and a practice.
Therfore, we thought it fit that it is an issue for concern, so that is how we came about forming the iPRAISE FOUNDATION.
Objectives:
To maintain gender inbalance in all sections in the country.
To organise school and colledge debates for young people on issues that are affecting them inorder to get solution to their problems. nTo promote Christian music to an higher height. To train churches in writing and singing Christian music.\\\\r\\\\nTo train young people as Peer Educators to respond to societal nagativities.\\\\r\\\\nTo have offices in all four regions in the country by 2010.
Milestones:
*We\\\\\\\'ve develop songs on HIV/AIDS and Gender Based Violence. *We have an Office fully staffed. *we are corrently embarking on HIV/AIDS sensitization, Girl Child Education and Human Right.

FUNDING:\\\\r\\\\n*To train Peer Educator, develop and maintain astandard website for the organisation.
*To have and maintain offices in all three regions in the country.
MOBILITY:
*We need vechiles and motor bikes for outreach teams inorder to reach more areas.
OFFICE EQUIPMENT:*We area lacking in office equipments like computers,printers, scanners, TV sets, video cameras, projectors and Public address system.
