These are from the guidelines set forth by Ashoka when reviewing the applications of potential fellows. I think it would be fitting to ask ourselves the same questions.
1. What is our solution to a social problem?
2. Will it change the current pattern of education?
3. Evaluate our idea historically and against our contemporaries.
4. What is our real-change potential?
5. Do we have a vision of how we can meet some human need better than it has been met before?
6. What is our history of creating other new visions?
7. What are our entrepreneurial qualities?
8. What is the social impact of our idea?
9. What is our broader strategy to reform educational systems at the national level and beyond?
