Objectives:
The goal of the project is to assess the needs and to build capacity of youth-led groups across Canada by introducing them to the web-based tools and collaborative technologies provided by the TakingITGlobal Canadian portal. The capacity-building workshops related to the project will increase the ability of youth-led initiatives and organizations in Canada to maximize the potential of technology to support their work. The research project component will seek to comprehensively identify the projects and needs of youth-led organizations, both from a technology stand-point and more generally to identify trends among these groups.

L'objectif du projet est d'évaluer les besoins et de developer les capacités des groupes dirigés par les jeunes au Canada en les familiarisant avec les outils basés sur l'Internet et les technologies collaboratives fournies par le portail canadien TakingITGlobal. Les ateliers de developer des capacités de ce projet permettront aux initiatives menées par les jeunes et leurs organisations d'optimiser le potentiel de la technologie dans leur travail au Canada. Le projet de recherche visera à identifier de manière exhaustive les projets et besoins des organisations menées par les jeunes, d'un avis technologique ansi que d’avis plus général et à identifier les tendances émergentes au sein de ces groupes.
