The following statements are EXAMPLES of very specific and measurable success outcomes
Key Success Principle: Building Relationships

· MCC builds strong relationships with other agencies; In 2006…
o Over 100 agencies refer clients to our core service
o As guest speakers we made over 50 presentations to over 500 attendees within 12 agencies.
§ We have 5 specialized presentation topics
o Facilitates at least one monthly support meeting, average 10 participants each or 120 annually.
o Our flyers are in over 500 agencies across the GTA and we have a web presence on 25 different agency web sites (including MCC’s).
o Every alternative month we hold a ‘support group’ meeting at a different agency – and the space is donated in-kind.
o We collaborate with one agency to submit a joint-funding Government proposal
A Reciprocal Collaboration Model to;
§ Share space for meetings
§ Refer clients to each agencies core service
§ Co-submit government funding proposals

A Community Capacity Building Model to;

§         Draw and grow the MCC membership and volunteer base through this exciting initiative
§         Increase the ‘Human Resource’ capacity for this project, thereby serving more participants

· MCC Mentors GLBT Newcomers involved in any sponsorship process; In 2006…
o Provides mentoring supports to over 25 Family-Class Applicants
§ At least 5 are members of the MCC congregation
A Program Development Model based on;
§         Develop a GLBT Newcomer Mentoring Program, which could be used by other agencies and/or in other geographic areas
§         Build on the framework of already existing Mentoring programs within MCC.
§         Add structure to an intervention making it more scalable and replicable.

· MCC Sponsors GLBT Refugees; In 2006…
o Legally Sponsors an average of 2 ‘claimants’ annually
§ Raises $10,000 annually (dollars or in-kind) for each “CIC” claimant
