Description:
MDGs Group Ghana is a network of inspired youth from Ghana working for the MDGs in Ghana through campaign,advocacy and action.
We are advocates and ambassodors of the MDGs.
Background:
Ghana is one of the 189 countries that subcribed to the MDGs in 2000.
It is this light thjat MDGs Group Ghana has some to ensure that actions towards the fulfilment of the said goals in Ghana is not substituted foir anything else.
We are a group of student leaders from Ghanaian universities,polytechnics and scondary schools.Graduates are also part of the team.
Objectives:
To wage a relentless campaign on thge MDGs in Ghana using the print and electronic media.
To reach many seconfd and tertiary schools with campaigns and action on MDGs.
Milestones:
To reach as many as 100 schools with MDGs campaigns by december 2007.
To develop a website for action and networking of members by June 2007
To have established an ICT programme for 10 local commmunity schools by June 2007
To have made 5 press releases and numerous media apppearance by June 2007.
To have partnered at leat 3 international organizations to mobilize resources towards improvement of education in rural Ghanaian communities by december 2007.
To have developed MDGs paraphernallia by June 2007

The estimated budget is $5,000 US dollars.
Needs:
We need a computer and its accessories.
We need a digital camera.
We need a set of office furniture.
We need a website.
We need skilled volunteers.
