My Own Children International is an international non profit making charitable organisation which has it headquarter based in Alberta, Canada and a chapter in Sierra Leone. The organisation aim at promoting children and youth welfares, children like street kids, orphans and war affected children and youth.
The organisation is operating in four main areas such as health, education, agriculture, peace and conflict.
In respect of the health and sanitation programme, through facts findings we find out that many children lost and develop their weigh which sent a signal to many unexpected sickness which sometimes occurred during and after the hours of classes, the same story goes for teachers, Adults/old people who are more effected the most through hypertension(overweight, high and low blood pressure) these conditions killed many people in communities in Sierra Leone, the organisation is aiming to carry out community to community body weighing and blood pressure check in order to prevent overweight, high and low blood pressure amongst youths, stakeholders(adults, old people) and children in their various communities and schools, this campaign will also extend in schools, Colleges/Universities/Vocational institutions, Offices, Market areas and slump communities to educate them about the danger of overweight, high and low blood pressure and prevent them from the high death rate of children, youths and adult through these conditions.
Children who are attending school age three to fourteen years would be weighing three times a year and teachers will also check their blood pressure twice a week in order to prevent overweight, high and low blood pressure, children from classes 1 to JSS3 will have their weight recorded in their school terminal report card to be taken home to their parents/guidance to know how healthy their children are. Plans are also on the way to provide First Aid shelter in every school in Sierra Leone. These First Aid shelters will be provided for the prevention of overweight, high and low blood pressure, HIV/AIDS VCCT services for school children, and emergency sickness during the hours of classes, hygiene, and environmental sensitization.

Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has appealed for urgent cash aid to help up to two million people who have fled fighting with the Taliban.

The UN says that about 1.5 million people have been displaced since the army's latest offensive began on 2 May, 2009 and two million since last August.

Another Suicide Bomb Blast in City of Mardan (Pakistan) killed 9 & many injured.
The suicide bomb blast happend yesterday killing 9 police & many injured in the city of Mardan, the incident happen in Mardan's DIG Police Office.
Lets think about it, Whos gona be responsible for the victims kids. The died police men had kids in there homes Whos gona give them a bright future????
