I currently paused the active development on the Mothership Gaia meta project and will pick it up in a little while. I take some time now for a local multimedia social network platform in Germany @ http://ziegenhagen.globaldorf.org

Weekend work retreat report.
The goal was to set up the welcome center @ http://www.mothership-gaia.org as a clean, informative welcome portal into the Mothership Gaia project and related sites.
An Online Community and Content Management system has been set up, the theme designed and additional modules plugged in.
today I wrote the first draft to describe "the situation" in 3 layers: The Global Situation, The Situation of Mass Media and The Situation of New Media.
After editing it tomorrow I'll post it here as a PDF.

Progress of project:
current state:
the idea is clear, a strategy has been jammed together, possible Open Source Media solutions have been researched and prototypes have been brought online. The beginning of the mythic story is developed and first concept art is designed.
The Website is a chaotic collection of snippets and different systems so far. They show tiny bits and potential but give no coherent impression of what the project is about, where it goes and how one can participate.
Upcoming:
create one central website to clearly describe the project and invite for discussion and collaboration.
