NOMI focuses on the "narratives of minority immigrants" and the racial, ethnicity and diversity-related issues and challenges they encounter in the labour force, in volunteer positions, in schools and in the community at large, and how these experiences have affected their identities.
Background:
NOMI group was founded by an immigrant who has encountered many obstacles and challenges while pursuing higher learning.
Objectives:
To connect to immigrants within Canada (and around the world) and from all walks of life with stories to share and to empower.
