Description:
PAVE Participatory Action for Vulnerable Empowerment is a non-political, non-profit, voluntary development Organization. It was formed in December 2002 under the leadership of K G M Faruque, who is a person with physical impairment and dynamic leadership. He has eminence in the society having experience in social development activities including the social and humanitarian work. It works in under developed rural area for poverty alleviation and development of the destitute and less fortunate people especially women and children including people with disabilities in leading their normal socio-economic and cultural life with right, dignity and honor.
PAVE is registered with the department of Registration, under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary affairs, vide no. Gabtali , Bogra iv (1)/2002 .

GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE
At present PAVE has been working in Bogra district at grassroots level, in future it will go beyond the existing area and any area suitable for program implementation.
Objectives:
VISION
A confident and responsible society, free from poverty, in which its people can lead an active life of freedom and livelihood.
MISSION
Facilitate and participate in survival strategies of the rural poor, especially of the people with disability, women, indigenous group and the disadvantaged population to achieve socio-economic sustainability and a better livelihood.
Needs:
RESOURCE MOBILIZATION
Issue appeals applications for money and funds from interested persons and organizations in Bangladesh and abroad as grants or loan and to accept gifts, donations and subscriptions of cash and securities and any property either movable or unmovable.
OBJECTIVES
o Support and take necessary steps to mediate initiatives of the poor in realizing their potentials demands on government and other institutions where they have legitimate rights and shares.
o Initiate projects and activities, also with others, with the aim of protecting and preserving the ecological and natural resources of community.
o Promote advocacy, lobby and seek alliances for policy formulations and behavioral changes of relevant organizations and institutions and of the people with disability, poor and disadvantaged population in the rural areas.
o Provide disaster preparedness and post-disaster rehabilitation programs.
o Undertake humanitarian welfare services especially for people with disability, women and children of disadvantaged and poor families.
o Establish a network of national and international organization in the field of mutual cooperation and solidarity.
o Projects will try to integrate initiatives for good governance to promote a pro-poor democratic society.
